In reading about action research, it appears to be a really
great tool to get your whole staff on the same page. Since action research
requires for the administrators to get more involved in the day to day
activities, and to also partake in all research assessments, all members of the
staff will be able to benefit and improve the product in the classroom. We are
living in a time when things are quickly changing because of the technology and
the pressures that students have not only at home, but peer pressures of
friends and the neighborhoods they come from.
Action research would be of great assistance to get a better
understanding of what is working in our backyard as to reading what we should
do from a book. I am looking forward to learning the different ways we can use
this technique to make our campus one of the most recognized if not in the
district, but also the state.
What's great about blogging is that it allows for other administrators to comment on each others blogs and they can even post pictures and images. Principals can also use this as an online diary to keep track of what events have transpired.
